Betty Lupacchino

Betty is an award winning photographer with over 25 years experience.  She previously worked with a portrait photographer while living in Connecticut and enjoyed photographing children.  She has competed both nationally and internationally and has had some of her work on display at Epcot Center in Florida.

Betty currently specializes in photographing pets (and people too) in a natural, outdoor setting. To create a soft natural look she uses available ambient light and the surrounding backdrop provided by Mother Nature.

Having developed her printing skills in the darkroom, she now uses the latest digital and computer technology to create her images.

Portraits are photographed on location at the subject's home or at a local picturesque setting. Photos are viewed immediately following the shoot via a laptop computer.

Due to the personal nature of this service, travel areas are limited. Please contact us for available locations.

What to Expect

It's easy to set up a pet portrait session for you and your favorite pet. Your life is complicated enough without trying to figure out how or when to get your pet into a studio. Now the studio comes to you!

Your pet portrait session begins when you give me a call to select a convenient date and time when you'd like me to meet you and your pet. Once we settle on a mutual date, I'll keep an eye on the weather. Since my photography relies primarily on natural outdoor light, it is less effective when it is pouring rain. The best time of the day is usually before 11:00 am or after 2:00 pm.

If the weather does not cooperate and we have to reschedule there is no additional cost. When the light is right, you can expect that your sitting will take about an hour. This gives me plenty of time to talk to you and watch your pet. If your pet is exciteable, this also gives him or her time to burn off steam. Once we've let your pet settle down and get comfortable I'll be able to start capturing his or her special image.
